Bristol Culina Depot and Bristol Temple Meads Visit

A very pleasant day at Bristol to observe a variety of trucks at Culina Bristol Depot and trains at Bristol Temple Meads. A great selection of photographs were taken throughout the course of the day. There is one or two photographs of a bus included within this post.

  Class 158 and 159 Diesel Multiple Units (Sprinters) - GWR/SWR A focus on my favourite passenger Diesel Multiple Unit trains. The Class 158 and 159 units within SWR and GWR will be the primary focus for this page. The  Class  158/159 units were trialled between 1984 and 1985. Names like Eddie Stobart and British Road Services are known by almost everyone and have been important in their roles of providing haulage and/or logistics for many different customers. Bristol - Tuesday 6th May 2025

Bristol Visit A visit was made to Bristol to observe the buses and trucks in the area. We visited the city centre and then Poplar Way for the Culina Depot. On the return journey home, we were aware of a Class 66 freight train passing Sherrington Lane which we quickly caught up with to photograph.
