Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service - Royal Bournemouth Hospital


On a recent visit for a relative at an outpatient appointment, I discovered that there were two Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue appliances on site. I took the opportunity to photograph them and add them to my Blogger page. Both appliances are based at Westbourne Fire Station in Dorset. I am unsure as to why their attendance was required, but believe it to be for appliance/fire alarm testing. It was apparent that it was not an emergency call out.

  Class 158 and 159 Diesel Multiple Units (Sprinters) - GWR/SWR A focus on my favourite passenger Diesel Multiple Unit trains. Bristol - Tuesday 6th May 2025

Bristol Visit A visit was made to Bristol to observe the buses and trucks in the area. We visited the city centre and then Poplar Way for the Culina Depot. On the return journey home, we were aware of a Class 66 freight train passing Sherrington Lane which we quickly caught up with to photograph.
